Hours on ExpertBridge are bought in blocks against a named expert. You see the rate and the number of hours before you commit, and you pay for that block when you book it.

A block is a commitment to one expert for the hours in it. It cannot be cancelled part-way through, because the expert may already have delivered against it — held calls, reviewed material, or produced work.

At the end of any block you simply decide whether to continue.

If you do not want to continue with that expert, you do not have to explain why, give notice, or have a conversation with them. Tell us, and we will propose a different expert for the next block. There is no additional cost, no penalty, and no minimum number of blocks.

This is why we suggest starting with a single hour. It is the cheapest way to find out whether an expert is right for your work.

Hours are bought against a specific expert and are not transferable to a different expert. Unused hours in an open block remain available for that expert for the term of the engagement.

An expert cannot bill you for hours you have not approved. If an expert submits hours beyond what you agreed, you can decline them and you will not be charged.

We will refund or credit you in full where:

• a technical failure on our platform prevented a session from taking place;
• an expert did not attend a scheduled session and did not give notice;
• an expert's stated qualifications or experience were materially misrepresented; or
• you were charged for hours you did not approve.

Tell us within 7 days of the session or charge, at support@expertbridge.co, and we will investigate and respond within 5 working days.

Refunds are issued either as wallet credit, which you can use immediately for another engagement, or back to your original payment method. You choose. Refunds to a payment method typically take 5 to 10 working days to appear, depending on your bank.

Taxes charged on a refunded amount are refunded with it.

Where none of the above applies, completed sessions and delivered work are not refundable — the expert has done the work. What protects you is the structure rather than a refund: start with one hour, buy hours in small blocks, and change expert at the end of any block at no cost.
